Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with recruiting of hourly and salary employees
- Onboarding and training
- Employee engagement and special events
- Enroll employees in benefit plans and become an integral part of the open enrollment team.
- Enter and maintain all personnel and payroll data into the HCM systems.
- Daily monitoring and correction of hourly time and attendance information
- Process bi-weekly payroll for approx. 200 employees with 100% accuracy
- Process VOE’s and other payroll related requests
- Process child support and other garnishments
- Respond to payroll and benefit related inquiries from employees.
- Respond to labor reporting requests from management.
- Assist with conflict resolution and terminations.
- Assist with Workers’ Compensation Claims and Injury reporting.
- Ensure that end of the year W-2, ACA and EEOC reporting is timely and accurate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3+ years of human resources, time, and attendance, and benefit specific experience.
- Strength of character including trustworthiness, dependability, and integrity
- Positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative attitude
- Attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to maintain a strict sense of discretion and confidentiality.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Effective cross functional written and verbal communication
- Experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
