We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Controller to lead our financial operations and oversee all aspects of accounting and reporting. The Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, implementing internal controls, and providing financial guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting principles, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving financial success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting department and oversee day-to-day operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial projections.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management, including financial analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
