Human Resource Director 

Working with Executive Leadership, creates an environment where the company attracts, develops and retains the talent needed to deliver the company’s mission. Establishes and maintains Human Resource policies to ensure the company remains in compliance with all Federal, State and local employment  laws. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Establish and build a recruiting and onboarding capability to support the company’s growth  plans. 
  • Identify and manage the staffing and recruitment process. Develop and execute best practices  for hiring, including job postings, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding. 
  • Conduct research and analysis of HR trends including review of reports and metrics  from the company’s human resource information system (HRIS) and make recommendations to  Executive Leadership. 
  • Support Executive Leadership in the development and implementation of a winning culture.  Lead employee communication efforts including all-staff meetings, etc. 
  • Liaise with Human Resource vendors including benefit providers, HRM and consultants.
  • Review opportunities for leverage such as PEOs and make recommendations to Executive  Leadership. 
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, and initiatives to  support HR compliance and strategy needs. 
  • Administer HR programs including but not limited to, compensation, benefits and leave;  disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management;  productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and  development. 
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws  and regulations, and recommend best practices to Executive Leadership; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance. 
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in  human resources, talent management and employment law; apply this knowledge to  communicate changes in policy, practice and resources to Executive Leadership. 
  • Partner with Executive Leadership to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business  initiatives. 
  • Develop and implement departmental budget. 
  • Facilitate professional development, training and certification for HR staff. 
  • Perform other duties as required. 

Education, Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required;  Master’s degree preferred. 
  • At least five years of human resource management experience is required.
  • Effective verbal and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations. 
  • Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including  compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations.
  • Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products. 
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the company’s HRIS and talent management  system.

ERP Administrator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Ensures reliability and performance of the ERP system. 
  • Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of business requirements on a project by project basis in  collaboration with stakeholders. 
  • Perform data validation and quality control checks to maximize operational performance. Provide incident response support for application issues and troubleshoot production issues. Identify and correct application issues to maintain high availability of services. 
  • Develops technical solutions to business problems and advance the company’s sales efforts. Advances and grows operations and processes using ERP. 
  • Performs maintenance, advancements, and upgrades to ERP. 
  • Recommends new features or changes to configuration / workflows based on user feedback. 
  • Participates in the full life-cycle implementation of the ERP system including support for ERP and associated business  and manufacturing processes. 
  • Provides expertise in business processes such as accounting, distribution, manufacturing, service management,  professional services, and workflow analysis. 
  • Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standards. 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems, or another relevant academic discipline preferred  Professional certifications a plus. 
  • A minimum of three years of professional IT and IS experience.  
  • Experience in Epicor ERP / Kinetic or similar system.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and Word. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and related tools including SSRS and SSMS. 
  • Proficiency in Seagull Scientific Bartender labeling software. 
  • Proficiency with development in C# and SQL.  
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, and complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to  inquiries. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all levels of management and customers both verbally and  through written communications. 
  • Ability to use and apply advanced mathematical functions to solve problems and analyze data. Ability to develop  and interpret graphs and charts.  
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including PowerBI is a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping and  end-to-end process experience is a plus.

Master Scheduler

The Master Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the development of and driving execution of the master production schedule to satisfy the customer.

  • Supervises Production Planning Team members as assigned.
  • Assess risks and gaps within the schedule and communicate appropriately the risks with value stream stakeholders. Deploy corrective actions to meet expectations.
  • Supports the Production Planning Team in the on-time release and management of production work orders in accordance with MRP.
  • Works closely with manufacturing and purchasing departments to prioritize, expedite and de-expedite work orders and purchase orders based on material availability, department resources, changing requirements and customer service requirements.
  • Seeks ways to reduce internal lead times as well as lead times to customers.
  • Communicate schedule changes to levels of the organization as required.
  • Work with operations to help prioritize the shop floor in support of all customer requirements and adjust master schedule for capacity constraints.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BA/BS Business/Supply Chain/Industrial Eng or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Production Planning & Control for High Mix Manufacturing Environment.
  • 4+ years supervisory experience
  • APICS Certification Preferred
  • Working knowledge on demand management, forecast and level production level loading.
  • The position requires close attention to detail, strong problem solving and analysis skills and knowledge of manufacturing planning processes.

Accounting Manager

Essential Duties:

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements, analyzing variances vs forecasts and prior year.
  • Upload and input monthly and yearly results into the Company financial system. Review and correct any variance that arises prior to submission.
  • Responsible for various monthly account reconciliation, identifying and correcting any reconciling items that arise.
  • Lead and direct the month-end close process with appropriate analysis and application of proper accounting principles. Ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain intercompany ledgers, enter monthly balances into the financial system, and work with other divisions when differences arise.
  • Maintain a fixed asset system, including yearly fixed asset physical inventory.
  • Monitor notices from various states to make sure all filings are up to date. Investigate and resolve issues where appropriate.
  • Monitor, report and pay commissions to salespeople and Reps accurately.
  • Take the lead on quarterly audits. Assist with information requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Provide back-up to Accounts Payable, credit and collections, and Payroll.
