Committed to Giving Back…

At Integrated Resource Solutions, supporting our local community is at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to give back through active participation and partnerships with several impactful organizations throughout the Grand Rapids area.

One cause especially close to our hearts is Run 4 a Cause, founded by our owner, Denise Erickson in 2010. Through this initiative, we've helped raise over $120,000 in support of Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, making a meaningful difference for local families in need.

Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital…

Each year, Run 4 a Cause… Our Kids! hosts a 5K Run/Walk and 1.5 Mile Family Fun Run to raise both funds and awareness for the life-saving services at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. This incredible institution cared for more than 190,000 children last year alone, offering world-class care to families across West Michigan and beyond. Thanks to the support of our community, children facing illness and injury receive compassionate, cutting-edge treatment—right here in Grand Rapids.

Proceeds from our annual events benefit two essential programs:

  • Child Life Services

  • Pediatric Hematology & Oncology

To help build momentum for our annual run, we also host a community bowling event—a fun and meaningful way to kick off the season of giving.

At IRS, we believe that supporting children and families in need is one of the most important ways we can serve our community.

Women’s Resource Center

Women’s Resource Center walks alongside women in transition, encouraging them to believe in themselves and teaching them the skills they need to succeed with their career goals.

Denise Hamill has sat on the Host Committee for the past three years for the Pillar Awards.

CASA

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Kent County, is the only local volunteer organization that empowers everyday citizens to become appointed members of the Kent County court system to act on behalf of abused or neglected children as they pass through the family court system.

The Children’s Assessment Center

The Children’s Assessment Center assesses, supports, and assists child victims of suspected sexual abuse. We provide interviews, assessments, medical exams, counseling and therapy, and court support. All of our services are offered in a child-friendly, sensitive, and safe environment and are free of charge to all children and nonoffending family members. We serve the entire Kent County area.
