Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager

The ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver with a history of working in the automotive or composite material industries. Salary Range: $100k – $130k DOE.

 Responsibilities

  • Manage the engineering team 
  • Establish and maintain customer files, including engineering standards, blueprints and other associated materials and information
  • Analyze, evaluate, and test new and existing processes
  • Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes and procedures 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create new products
  • Assist in the implementation of new products 
  • Participate in contract review and quoting procedure
  • Create budgets
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

 Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Engineering or related field  
  • At least 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization along with vendors and customers outside the company
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of Lean Tools e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Cell Design, Standard Work, Jidoka, 6-Sigma
  • Working knowledge of composites industry and specifically, composite panel knowledge strongly preferred
  • CAD – SolidWorks preferred
  • Proficient in computer technology and systems
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

 



Quality Manager

Quality Manager

This full-time position ensures all company products meet consumer expectations and demands. The role is responsible for overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s Quality System. Salary Range: $90k – $105k DOE

 Responsibilities

  • Manages the quality team
  • Controls all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Responsible for the calibration of monitoring and measurement devices 
  • Oversees all QC lab work
  • Develop and maintain internal work instructions and policies/procedures relating to Quality
  • Identifies, analyzes, and implements quality systems in manufacturing that improves and/or stabilizes product quality; sets benchmarks
  • Oversees implementation of new processes and procedures; determines gaps in existing systems 

 Qualifications

  • Five years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or other relevant discipline
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience with ISO 9001, TS 16949, or similar quality standards
  • ASQ certification, accredited Green Belt is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
